Day 1 - Depart London Heathrow for Vancouver

Depart London Heathrow on a scheduled flight to Vancouver. On arrival, transfer to your accommodation and spend time exploring this scenic city at leisure. Overnight in Vancouver.

Day 2 - Vancouver to Kamloops

Vancouver to Kamloops Your Canada by rail journey starts by boarding the world famous Rocky Mountaineer in the city of Vancouver. On today’s journey you will pass through the fields of Frazer Valley and highlights include the steep slopes and rock sheds along the Thompson River and the rushing waters of Hell’s Gate in the Fraser Canyon. Stay overnight in Kamloops.

Day 3 - Kamloops to Banff

Your Canada train holiday leaves Kamloops for the mountain town of Banff. Your journey takes you along the South Thompson River, pass Craigellachie where the last spike of the Canadian Pacific Railway was driven and enter Rogers Pass, with its tunnels, snowsheds and glaciers. . Climb through the Spiral Tunnels and over the Continental Divide to Banff National Park.

Day 4 - Banff Sightseeing with Summit helicopter tour

Banff Sightseeing with Summit helicopter tour

Enjoy a five-hour motor coach sightseeing tour of Banff this morning. Among the highlights are visits to Bow Falls, Banff Gondola, the Cave and Basin Centre, Surprise Corner, and the Hoodoos. Free time for lunch in Banff will be provided before continuing on to Kananaskia for the highlight of the day....A 15 minute helicopter tour over the Rockies. The rest of the day is free to spend at leisure in Banff. Overnight in Banff.

Day 5 - Banf to Lake Louise

Your Canada train holiday Continues with a half-day tour which takes you into Yoho National Park to view some of its wonders. Among the places of interest are the Spiral Tunnels, Emerald Lake and a natural rock bridge that spans the Kicking Horse River. Upon arrival in Lake Louise you will be treated to a one-hour guided lakeshore stroll. The remainder of the afternoon is at your leisure. Overnight at The Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise.

Day 6 - Lake Louise to Jasper

Lake Louise to Jasper Tour Banff and Jasper National Parks via the Icefields Parkway. Highlights include Bow Lake, the Columbia Icefield and Athabasca Falls. Upon arrival at the Columbia Icefield you will take a ride on an Ice Explorer to the middle of the Athabasca Glacier. Time will be available for lunch (not included). Arrive in Jasper late this afternoon. Overnight in Jasper.

Day 7 - Jasper to Quesnel

Jasper to Quesnel Travel onboard the Rocky Mountaineer from Jasper to Quesnel. Highlights include the Rocky Mountain Trench, Mount Robson, the highest peak in the Canadian Rockies, Yellowhead Pass, Moose Lake and the Fraser River. Overnight in Quesnel.

Day 8 - Quesnel to Whistler

Your journey continues south today through breathtaking and varied scenery to Whistler. Highlights include sweeping views of the Fraser Canyon, the crossing of Deep Creek Bridge, one of the highest railway bridges in the world, and the shorelines of glacial-fed Seton Lake and Anderson Lake. Overnight in Whistler.

Day 9 - Whistler

Enjoy the day exploring this exciting four-season resort on your own. Walk through the charming village, take a ride on the PEAK 2 PEAK Gondola (not included) or soar from tree to tree on a zipline adventure (not included). Overnight in Whistler.

Day 10 - Whistler to Vancouver

Whistler to Vancouver Your Canada by rail journey ends and the morning is free to explore Whistler Village at your leisure. This afternoon return to Vancouver on the Rocky Mountaineer. Highlights include the Cheakamus Canyon, the dome peak of Mount Garibaldi, Shannon Falls and breathtaking views of Howe Sound and the Coast Mountains. On arrival at the North Vancouver train platform, you will be transferred to your accommodation in downtown Vancouver. Overnight in Vancouver

Day 11 - Vancouver Departure

Your tour ends with check-out from your Vancouver hotel and transfer to Vancouver Airport for your return flight to London Heathrow.
