Enjoy the adventurous activities, stay in a suite in a rustic chalet, love the warm canadian summer, the lush grass and the sparkling lake.

Blessed with seasonal temperatures between 25 and 30 degrees in the height of summer, the main problem is finding the time to fit everything in! This is why we offer a summer activity package that offers canoeing, horse-trekking, motor-boat tour and a safari, and if thats not enough the package includes two free days where you can take free shuttles to Mont Tremblant, Eastern North America's number 1 ski resort, all while staying in one/two bedroom suites in the resorts log cabins which boast 'rustic chic'. If you want a breather, use your free days relaxing in the spa or go to Mont Tremblant for the multitude of shops, boutiques, galleries and restaurants.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Montreal

Fly from London Heathrow on a scheduled flight to Montreal. Transfer to your accommodation by the Lake and spend the evening settling in and enjoying the scenic views.

Day 2 - Half day canoe expedition

A 14km trip down the beautiful, meandering Riviere Rouge as it makes it way through the stunning Riviere Rouge valley. Stop along the way to rest and soak up the sun on the wide sandy shores or to take a dip in the river. A shuttle will be waiting at the 14km marker to return guests to the resort.

Day 3 - Free day

Guests can take free shuttle to local golf courses, take advantage of free onsite activities or spend the day relaxing in the spa. Please see below for a list of other optional activities available for this day.

Day 4 - Canadian Animal Safari

Something for all the family. Spend the day walking through Quebec’s magical “Parc Omega”. View moose, elk, wolves, bear, buffalo and many more species of native animals.

Day 5 - Motorboat tour on Lac Labelle

Hike through the local woodland trails to the private launch on Lac Labelle. Speed across Lac Labelle and adjoining Lac Alphonse in a powerful motorboat. After a basic introduction to the workings of the boat, guests will also have the opportunity to take the wheel. Picnic lunch provided. Meals included: Lunch

Day 6 - Free day

Guests can take free shuttle to local golf courses, take advantage of free onsite activities or spend the day relaxing in the spa.

Day 7 - Horse-trekking tour of the Red River Valley

Saddle up and follow the path of the river through some of Quebec’s most picturesque scenery.

Day 8 - Depart Montreal

Today you will transfer back to Montreal airport ready for your flight home to London Heathrow.

ATV Tour

Either go on a 90 minutes tour including introduction to ATV techniques where, along the way, the professional guide will help you to choose your individual challenges and allow you to tackle steep rock faces, exciting downhill, heavy muddy water, etc.

Or get the adrenalin pumping and go exploring for yourself.  Make use of the resorts own all-terrain vehicles and set off into the stunning Laurentian countryside.  (Note: there is a 10km/hr maximum until boundary of the property where you can directly access public trails.)

Canoe/Kayak trip on the Riviere Rouge

Choose a trip from 8km to 37km on the beautiful, meandering Riviere Rouge as it makes it way through the stunning Riviere Rouge valley.  Stop along the way to rest and soak up the sun on the wide sandy shores or to take a dip in the river.  When you reach the end of your trip, a shuttle will be waiting to deliver you back to the resort.

Downhill mountain biking

Nearby Mont Blanc boasts a wide variety of moutain biking terrain including eight downhill tracks with chair lift to summit, eastern Canada's largest bike park, wooded cross country bike trails and a children's bike circuit with bridges, obstacles and small jumps. Price includes shuttle to Mont Blanc, performance bike rental and lift ticket.

Golf

Motorboat tour of Lac Labelle and Lac Alphonse

This is a different way to experience the Laurentian lake district.  Speed across nearby Lac Labelle and Lac Alphonse in a powerful motorboat.  After a basic introduction to the workings of the boat, you will also have the opportunity to take the wheel yourself.

Mountain-Biking

Either explore the local trails set in 300 private forested acres with a one-hour guided tour with introduction to basic mountain biking technique.

Or go exploring for yourself on the local 22km of maintained woodland trails, or venture further afield and set off on the P'tit Train du Nord (previously the local train route, now a 200km biking trail through the Laurentian Mountains).

Bike rental is included in both packages.

Waterskiing/wakeboarding (with driver for boat)

Although the Main Lake itself is strictly non-motorised, the resort has it's own launch and motor boat on nearby Lac Labelle - accessible on foot via hiking trails or by road via free shuttle.  Experienced driver will give introduction to waterskiing/wakeboard technique for beginners.

White-water rafting

Have a great day with the whole family on this exceptional river trip. With the help of expert guides you will negotiate 8 to 10 kilometres of the majestic Rouge River including rapids up to class 3, with stops for swimming, bodysurfing and a riverside lunch.
