Visit Canada on a winter activity holiday for all the family

This resort comprises 300 private acres with numerous winter activities on offer, so many that we have taken the most popular activities and created the perfect winter package even including a couple of free days where you can choose from our extensive list of winter activities (please see optional excursions below). From traditional Canadian pursuits such as horse sleigh rides through the snowy forests and fields to adrenalin filled activities such as unguided snow mobile tours, there is something for everyone and for those who want to relax there is a magnificent lakeside spa,  all this while staying in one/two bedroom suite in the resorts log cabins which boast 'rustic chic'. And if thats not enough, for those die-hard skiers, there is a four times daily shuttle to Mont Tremblant.

Itinerary

Day 1 - Arrive Montreal

Fly from London Heathrow on a scheduled flight to Montreal. Transfer to the resort and settle in. Take in the surroundings of your Activity Holiday in Canada.

Day 2 - Half day snowmobiling adventure

Introduction to snowmobiling and exhilarating guided tour through Laurentian Mountain trails. Please note: There is an age restriction to drive a snowmobile, please see below.

Day 3 - Free day

Guests can take free shuttle to Mont Tremblant for skiing, take advantage of onsite activities (see optional excursions below) or spend the day relaxing in the spa.

Day 4 - Half day dog-sledding adventure

Before hitting the trails, guests help harness the huskies, get to know their team of dogs and receive basic instructions on how to drive the team and handle the sled.

Day 5 - Half day ice-fishing, half day guided snow shoeing and tracking

Learn the basic techniques of ice-fishing and try your hand on the main frozen lake. Any catches can be prepared in the restaurant that evening! In the afternoon, explore the forested trails on a guided snowshoeing tour and learn about animal tracking techniques.

Day 6 - Free day

Guests can take free shuttle to Mont Tremblant for skiing, take advantage of onsite activities (see optional excursions below) or spend the day relaxing in the spa.

Day 7 - Cross-country skiing

Introduction to cross-country skiing technique and guided tour through 25km of forested trails.

Day 8 - Depart Montreal

Transfer back to Montreal airport ready for your flight home back to London Heathrow.

Optional Excursions

Canadian adventure

Explore the Canadian wilderness in style.  Guided snowshoe trek to nearby Lac Labelle where a seaplane will be waiting on the frozen lake.  A short plane ride will take you over spectacular natural scenery to one of the best ice-fishing spots in the region. Fishing equipment and advice provided. Hot drinks served in warm cabin. Return to Lac Labelle and snowshoe back to the resort for a hot, hearty meal in our log restaurant.

Canadian Safari - Park Omega

A Canadian safari park with moose, bears, wolves, elk, buffalo and many other native species.  Walk through the park to view the animals and then stop off for lunch at the largest log cabin in the world 'Montebello'. **Please note a car will be required for this activity, you are able to walk around certain areas of the park, but a car is highly recommended**

Dog Sledding

A guided adventure through the Laurentian mountains. Before hitting the trails, help harness the huskies, get to know your team of dogs and receive basic instructions on how to drive the team and handle the sled. 10 km of trails bring you through forests with steep climbs and exciting downhills. Take a break in a warm cabin in the woods with hot drinks and snacks. At the end of the trip, enjoy a cold buffet and take home your own personal souvenir photo of yourself in full flight with your husky team.

Snow-mobiling unguided

Get the adrenalin pumping and go exploring for yourself.  Make use of the resorts' own snowmobiles and set off on some of the Laurentians' stunning snowmobile trails.  Note: there is a 10km/hr maximum until boundary of the resort property where you can directly access public snowmobile trails.

Tubing

Tobogganing was never this fun or this easy.  Whistle down the specially created tracks on an inflatable inner tube and then let the rope lift pull you back up to the top for another go. A 4-hour pass.

Full use of log cabin includes a fully equipped kitchen where guests can order basic groceries via the Online Concierge Service.

Please note: to drive a snowmobile there is an age restriction of 21 years and you must hold a valid driving licence - there can be one passenger on each snowmobile so this is our recommendation for children.

Please note: whilst there is a specific itinerary above, it is possible to create a tailor made holiday of any duration (over 5 days) and any of the activities listed above. Please contact our travel advisors who would be happy to assist you.

Please note: some suppliers are not open on Christmas day so there may be an itinerary change for customers staying on this day but it will be arranged that any activities that are booked will be completed on other days of your stay.
